REVIEWS: Best house on the beach, September 9, 2008 By Emily C (Lexington, KY) The pictures on the web don't do the house justice. It is truly an incredible vacation palace. It was by far the best house on the beach. The only way I could see for the owners to improve the place would be to add cable access to the movie theater room and the downstairs TV. The views from the house are spectacular, the rooms are very spacious, the place was immaculately clean, appliances were incredible (convection oven), and there were many kitchen implements I didn't anticipate having (mixer, grater, measuring spoons and cups). Decor was excellent. Definitely worth the price! Grocery store, liquor store, bars and restaurants were all well within walking distance. I'd definitely stay there again if I ever make it back to the area. JULY GETAWAY, July 9, 2008 By Marcus & Christy M (Greensboro,NC) This was a great house in a great location. I have to say that it is the one time in my life time I really enjoyed the beach. I stayed at this house with my wife the kids and our parents. We found it to be enough room and the house itself contained plenty to occupy us while confined indoors during bad weather or if we were just taking a break from the beach. I only had a couple of problems with my stay, however a call to the rental company solved them within hours of the complaint. I would strongly recommend this location to others and can say my family and I are already considering a second stay this year or next. The views of the beach are outstanding! We all loved the movie theater and the game room downstairs. The decor is amazing! This is truely a magnificent house. Not only are you in a dream spot for vacation BUT a dream house too! The beach is wonderfully quiet with few people but Caddy's is just down the beach if you need some action. I would love to come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was almost perfect for us. The only draw back was the pool was solar heated and the weather was cold, so it was unusable. If the pool was heated everything would have been perfect. The location was excellent. Stores, restaurants and beach made our stay much more enjoyable, because of how close they were. My family and I had a wonderful time. It was also our first time renting a vacation home. I would definetely stay here again.

Quiet part of beach, glorious views,amazing house,great facilities.Had great holiday. Disappointed by number of small easily rectified faults. Cleanliness-generally fine but certain areas of neglect,like multiple toothpaste splashes on red painted walls
of one bathroom. Also kitchen cupboard floor beneath waste bin very dirty. The floor of upstairs balcony needed good clean and the lower balcony dining table had not been cleaned.Freezer in garage which was turned off was found to contain rotting prawns which
caused awful smell there until detected. Some upholstery in sitting and dining room stained.Unemptied bin and random objects needed tidying up in dressing rooms on arrival.Live cockroaches found in BBQ. Maintenance issues-several window blinds had missing
slats and one broken so could not open.Several outside seats had broken backs, plug in downstair bathroom would not stay down. Equipment and facilities were generally excellent but surprised there was a spare full set of towels for only 2 of 3 bedrooms.Hopefully
owner now attended to these issues and house getting care and cleanliness it merits

Gas grills are terrible. One on balcony flamed so high we were scared it would explode. House not very clean, blood spot on pillowcase, last guests things under beds, etc. Need to do general maintenance, light bulbs missing, etc. Workout "room" very misleading, games don't word and equipment is junk. Beach access is awesome. House is fun and big. Needs better oversight of cleaning and maintenance people.

This is the second time we have stayed in this vacation house and we had a great time on both occasions. There were three families that stayed in with great ease and comfort. There were 6 adults and 6 kids both times we stayed and we could move around without feeling claustrophobic. For the price u pay u get it's worth in this house.

Unless one has truly experienced a peaceful- loving heaven, the fantastic beauty and the breath taking setting of this home it is really difficult to express. At first glance upon arrival - your heart will skip a beat! But prepare yourself for the moment you step inside this most soulful home. Where, no detail has been overlooked to welcome you in. Anyone lucky enough to experience such a retreat should consider themselves "blessed". I know- because my family and I - have been that fortunate and grateful to have had the opportunity to spend a week here.

We had a wonderful week in your beach house. It was very spacious and clean. The views are amazing and the ocean was so warm. We had our baby with us and the shaded pool was a definite plus. The only suggestion I have is to provide a few beach towels so the bath towels stay in the house. Our vacation went much to fast!

This is a very unique house with a great contemporary decor. The many large windows and balcony areas provide fantastic views of the beach. It's well-equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The private pool area is an extra bonus!

We had a great time at the beach house. Everything about the place was incredible. The only issue we had was we were unable to get the pool heated so it was unusable with the cold weather. The kids loved the theater room and game room. The kitchen was great for cooking a big dinner. The last night we used the grill on the balcony and watched the sunset. Thanks for a great vacation. I think we'll be back in the summer.
